The nobel prize for medicine was announced. Of the three people announced, two were women and young at that. This is so great. They discovered an enzyme that keep the ends of chromosones intact, so that when they copy themselves the ends stay intact. This keeps the chromosones from making mistakes. One of the latest areas of research is showing mistakes in duplication may cause certain diseases and start cells turning into cancer. Anyway, this shows women can compete in science too.
