I have a job that is based on projects and abstracting data from medical charts. They surprised me this year and had tons of work in November. It was last minute to help determine reimbursement levels for next year. The upshot is I have been very remiss in writing my blog. However, I have snuck in some quilting time.
This is am oldie I found while sort of cleaning up my sewing space. Although it is pretty dark, I still love it. Now I need to put it somewhere where I will see it and quilt it. The patterned blocks are made of little triangle scraps which were hand pieced over a period of time. I finished the top I started using slash and stitch. What fun!! Now am debating between machine and hand quilting probably using vertical lines.
The slash and stitch quilt looks great! What are the dimensions?
ReplyDeleteGreat goodies! I love the randomness of course of the slash and stitch... I admire your break out of the box projects!
ReplyDeleteAnother two knock-out quilts to add to my admiration of your work!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the slash and stitch..........
ReplyDeleteI like the quilt with all the triangles. Looks like lots of small pieces.
ReplyDeleteTwo completely different quilts--but great
